Removing E-Mail Accounts

 



Overview

You have the ability to remove any added email accounts to your main account. The number of email accounts you have is controlled by your hosting package and is shown on the main screen of your Control Panel interface.

 

NOTE: You cannot delete the email account for the main Control Panel user.

 

Steps

1  To access the Mail Menu, click on "Manage Accounts" under the  icon on the main screen of your Control Panel interface.

2  Locate the account you wish to delete in the list of active e-mail accounts.

3  Click on

4  You will be taken to a page which asks you to make sure you wish to delete the account. Click on yes to delete the account.

 

NOTE: If the account was deleted successfully, the following will appear (except it will contain the email address you are deleting rather than name@domain.com):

 

The e-mail account name@domain.com was successfully deleted.

 

 

Troubleshooting

Make sure you are not trying to delete the main email account as it cannot be deleted. Clicking on No on the confirmation page will cancel the process and the account will not be deleted.
